More About Me
Hello! Im Salman Sheikh, a UX designer/UX researcher from Manchester. Im extremely passionate about creating meaningful UX design solutions and connecting with like minded people to grow my network.
Education
I completed ‘The Professional Diploma in UX Design’ in September 2024. This was an opportunity to lay the foundation of my skills and apply them to my first project!
Im a Digital Business graduate from the University of Salford achieving a 2:1. I first discovered UX design during my final year project, I was tasked to design a digital artefact. Since then my passion for design continued to grow.
Work experience
Im currently a freelancer for Deep Street, a start up street food tours business launching in winter 2025.
Between 2020 - 2024 I was an assistant manager at Chaiiwala. My responsibilities included team leadership, staff onboarding, administration, stock control and overall store management and wellbeing.
Hobbies and interests
In my spare time time I enjoy playing golf with my friends. I also enjoy reading finance and personal growth books to keep a healthy mind.
